Theft

St. Thomas police are currently investigating a theft that occurred from a Talbot Street grocery store. On Monday June 17th 2024, officers were called to the store to investigate the report of an unknown person shopping for various grocery items and then leaving the store without paying. Police are reviewing video surveillance of the incident as they continue to investigate. ST24010177

A Subrosa Salvador BMX bicycle has been reported stolen from an elementary school in the city. On Monday June 17th 2024, police were called to the school to investigate the theft that occurred while a student of the school was in class. The bike is valued at over $600. Officers are reviewing available CCTV as they continue to investigate. ST240010202

Failure to Comply  

A 36 year old St. Thomas resident is wanted by police. On Monday June 17th 2024, STPS were called to investigate the report of unwanted communication. Through investigation, police learned the accused in the matter is on conditions to not communicate with the victim by any means and formed grounds to charge the 36 year old with one count of Breach of Recognizance. A warrant for arrest has been requested. ST24010187

Warrant Arrest

A 68 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested. On Monday June 17th 2024, the individual attended police headquarters to turn themselves in on an outstanding warrant with our service for Theft under $5,000 in relation to a shoplifting incident earlier this month. The 68 year old was processed and released on an undertaking with a future court date. ST24010200
