Vehicle entry
Ownership documents have been reported stolen from a vehicle on the south side of the city. On Monday January 15th 2024 the vehicle owner contacted police to report the theft. It was reported that sometime in the overnight hours of the 13th of January, an unknown person entered the vehicle and took the documents. No damage was reported. ST24000689
Theft
An electric scooter valued at $750 has been reported stolen. On Monday January 15th 2024, St. Thomas police were contacted by the owner of the vehicle who reported that their black and orange Segway scooter had been stolen while at work. This remains under investigation. ST24000692
St. Thomas police were called to a Talbot Street convenience store last night to investigate the report of a theft that had occurred. Through investigation officers learned an unknown individual attended the store and left with a quantity of merchandise. CCTV is being reviewed as police continue to investigate. ST24000716
Mischief
A 43 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested. On Monday January 15th 2024, officers were called to a disturbance at a south side address. Upon arrival officers located an individual known to them to be on conditions to keep the peace. Through investigation, police formed grounds to charge the 43 year old with Disobey an Order of the Court and Mischief after observing damage to property at the address of concern. The 43 year old was arrested and transported to police headquarters where they were processed and released on an undertaking with a future court date. ST24000715
