Assault
A 38 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested. On Wednesday May 15th 2024, police were called to a disturbance in the 500 block of Talbot Street. Upon arrival, officers learned an altercation had taken place and an individual had been injured. As a result, the 38 year old was charged with one count of Assault and one count of Assault with a Weapon and transferred to police headquarters. Failure to Comply
A 40 year old St. Thomas resident has been charged. On Wednesday May 15th 2024, police were contacted in regards to unwanted communication. Through investigation, officers learned the accused is on conditions to not communicate with the complainant. As a result, the 40 year old has been charged with one count Breach of Recognizance. A 36 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested. On Wednesday May 15th 2024, officers at the Elgin County Courthouse were dealing with the individual on an unrelated matter when they were notified of an outstanding warrant with our service for Harassment, stemming from an incident in November. The individual was processed, made a court appearance and was released by the courts. ST24007859
A 49 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested. On Wednesday May 15th 2024, the individual attended police headquarters to turn themselves in after they had been charged by our service with one count Failure to Comply with Undertaking in relation to an incident earlier this week. A 37 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested. On Thursday May 16th 2024, officers on community patrol located the individual known to them to be wanted on an outstanding warrant with our service for Operation while Prohibited.
