Stolen E-Bike Recovered

On Wednesday February 15th just before 1:00 PM Officers on community patrol were called to attended a residence in the City for an e-bike that had been found.  Upon arrival, St. Thomas Police were able to identify and confirm the e-bike was reported stolen on November 4, 2022. The owner has been contacted. ST23002483

Mischief

On Wednesday February 15th around 8:30 AM St. Thomas Police were called to a residence in south end of the City to investigate a broken window of a truck that occurred sometime overnight. Police reviewed on site video that was available to them but were unable to determine how the window was broken. STPS continue to investigate. ST23002476

Theft

On Wednesday February 15th, just before 5:00 PM St. Thomas Police were called to a residence in the south end of the City after personal belongings and tools were taken from the back of a work truck. A black plastic tote with several Dewalt tools has been reported stolen. STPS continue to investigate. Anyone with information is asked to contact STPS at 519-631-1224 or Crime Stoppers ST23002512

On Wednesday February 15th, shortly after 9:00 PM Officers on community patrol were called to a local retail store after a Milwaukee pipe wrench, valued at $139.99 was stolen. Video surveillance revealed a male in his mid-thirties, wearing a black toque, a white sweater with a black vest, black pants, shoes, and glasses conceal the item and leave the store with no attempt to pay. Arrested 

On Wednesday February 15th, around 7:30 PM Brooks Ferris was arrested on his outstanding warrant with the St. Thomas Police Service for Possession of Stolen Property. Officers on community patrol recognized Ferris as wanted and he was arrested without incident and released. ST23002525
