Mischief

St. Thomas police are investigating the report of damage caused to vehicles that were parked in the Fingal Line and Sunset Drive area. On Saturday November 16th 2024, officers were called by a vehicle owner who returned to the car after it had been parked for the night, to find all four tires has been slashed. Through investigation, officers learned a second vehicle in the area had also had the rear tires slashed. Police are reviewing available video surveillance in the area as they continue to investigate. ST24020849

Intimate Partner Violence

A 30 year old St. Thomas resident has been charged after police were called in regards to an unwanted person, Sunday Morning. Officers attended an address in the 300 block of Talbot Street to investigate the report an individual known to the tenant, attending the address and forcibly gaining entry. It was reported the individual attempted to assault the victim before leaving the area. As a result, the 30 year old St. Thomas resident has been charged with one count of Unlawfully in a Dwelling and one count of Assault. A warrant for arrest has been requested. ST24020922

Warrant Arrests 

A 39 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested. On Sunday November 17th 2024, officers on community patrol located the individual known to them to be wanted on an outstanding warrant with our service for Breach of Probation and Failure to Comply with Release Order. The individual was transported to police headquarters where they were processed and held for a morning court appearance. ST24020933

A 20 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested. On Sunday November 17th 2024, while on an unrelated call for service, officers located the individual known to them to be wanted on an outstanding warrant with our service for Assault, Mischief and Failure to Comply with Release Order. The individual was transported to police headquarters where they were processed and held for a morning court appearance. ST24020947
