Theft of E-Tricycle

Warrant Arrests
At approximately 12:45pm on Saturday June 8th, while responding to an unrelated call for service, police located a 32-year-old male known by police to be wanted on the strength of a bench warrant. The male is charged with Mischief Under $5000 and Fail to Comply with Release order. Since this male’s original arrest in December of 2023, a total of 7 bench warrants have been issued as a result of his failure to attend for court. The male was arrested and transported to police headquarters where he was later released by the court with a future court date. ST24009596.
Later in the afternoon, members of the London Police Service arrested a 41-year-old female on the strength of a first instance warrant held by the STPS. The female is charged with Theft Under $5000 in relation to a shoplifting incident that occurred earlier in the year at a business in the 1000 block of Talbot St. ST24009613.
Assaults
On Saturday afternoon, an 18-year-old St. Thomas male attended the police station to report being assaulted by an unknown male party while attending a large party on the outskirts of the City Friday night. At approximately 5pm on Saturday afternoon, police were flagged down at a business on Talbot St. A witness had observed a female push, punch, and kick another female. Police located the involved parties, both known to police, and arrested the assailant for assault. The 46-year-old female was transported to police headquarters where she was processed and later released with a future court date. ST24009627.
Shoplifter
Shortly after 5pm, an unknown male attended a business in the 1000 block of Talbot St and stole $70 worth of product. The male concealed the product in a backpack before going through the check-out and paying for a single inexpensive item. An employee confronted the shoplifter outside the store however, the male fled on foot. Theft of Child’s Bicycle
Sometime during the day on Saturday June 8th, an unknown person stole a child’s bicycle from the front porch of a residence near the downtown core. The bicycle is a youth sized 7-speed Giant Escape Jr. It is black with green lettering and has a faded lime green coloured seat.
