Mischief

On Saturday morning police were called to an apartment building in the downtown core for reports of graffiti on an exterior building wall. Police attended and observed writing in permanent marker that named one of the building residents. Assault

On Friday evening police were flagged down on Talbot St by a male reporting he’d been assaulted. Police reviewed video from a nearby business that captured the assault and recognized the assailant from previous police interactions. Police located and arrested the 36-year-old male without incident. He was transported to police headquarters where he was processed and later released on an Undertaking with conditions. ST24013522.

Bicycle Theft

Later in the evening police were called to a business in the 1000 block of Talbot St for reports of a stolen bicycle. The 12-year-old victim had left his bicycle outside of a business and when he returned, the bicycle was missing. The missing bicycle is a red CCM mountain bike with a yellow front bracket. The theft was captured on video and police have identified the suspect and are making efforts to locate him and the stolen property. ST24013525.
