Assault
On February 17th, 2023, a staff member at a local group home was assaulted by a resident. The 48 year-old male suspect was arrested and charged with assault. The victim was not injured. *2602

On February 17th, 2023, a 36 year-old female was arrested on the strength of a warrant that was issued after she was found in breach of a conditional sentence order. She was held in custody for a court appearance and was remanded into custody. *2608
On February 17th, 2023, a 35 year-old male was arrested on the strength of an outstanding Bench Warrant that was issued after he failed to attend his scheduled court date. The male was held in custody for a court appearance and was released by the courts. *2611
On February 17th, 2023, a 33 year-old male was arrested on an outstanding warrant that was issued after he failed to comply with a condition of his Release Order. He was later released on an Appearance Notice with a future court date. *2620
On February 17th, 2023, a 41 year-old female was arrested on the strength of an outstanding warrant that was issued after she failed to comply with a condition of her Release Order. Officers on Community Patrol were dealing with her on an unrelated matter when it was discovered she had the outstanding warrant. She was taken into custody and held for a court appearance. * 2622
Mischief
On February 17th, 2023, a vehicle was keyed by an unknown suspect causing damage along one side of the car while it was in the parking lot at 1063 Talbot Street. Officers are continuing to investigate in attempts to identify a suspect. *2628
Theft
The St Thomas Police are investigating a theft of over $6000 worth of merchandise from Walmart on February 17th. Two male suspects entered the store together and left without making any attempt to pay. They were last seen getting into a dark coloured vehicle. *2632
