Vehicle Entry & Theft
On April 6th 2023, a city resident contacted Police to report that sometime overnight their vehicle had been entered by an unknown person and that a number of items had been taken. On 07APR23, following further investigation, Police were able to identify and arrest the suspect involved. The suspect was subsequently taken back to the STPS station, where they were charged with a number of offences and held for court. ST23005539
Domestic Assault
In the early morning hours of April 8th 2023, Police were called to a south end residence for reports of a disturbance. Speaking with the parties involved, Officers learned that an assault had occurred. A male in his 30s was arrested and brought back to the STPS station where he was charged with 1 count of spousal assault and held for court.
Mischief
Also in the early morning hours of April 8th 2023, Police attended a downtown bar for reports that a male had pulled the fire alarm inside the business. Through investigation, Officers determined that there was no emergency and no fire. Police were able to identify the male party in question who was subsequently arrested and charged with 1 count of Mischief. The male was brought back to the STPS station where he was later released with conditions. ST23005621
