Theft:

On Thursday the 13th of February 2025 a male and a female entered an east end business and selected merchandise before leaving without paying for the items. Video has been obtained including a potential licence plate of the vehicle operated by the suspects and the matter is under investigation. Breach of Probation/Unwanted person:

On Thursday afternoon the St Thomas Police Service was contacted by a family in the west end of the City who reported an individual was at the residence causing issues – this individual is on probation with conditions that include not to attend said residence. Police attended and arrested the 20-year-old male from St Thomas – who was held overnight for court. Incident ST25002479.

Break and Enter/Theft:

On Thursday afternoon a resident in the north end reported that an unknown person broke into a locked shed in the rear yard at the residence and stole a bicycle. Evidence at the scene was gathered, video is being obtained from the area, and the matter is currently under investigation. The bicycle was described as a blue adult bicycle with a light on the left side of the handlebars and a u-lock attached to the right side of the handlebars. Warrant arrests:

On Thursday night officers on general patrol observed a 39-year-old female known to them to be wanted on a warrant held by the St Thomas Police Service for theft. The St Thomas resident was arrested and released with a fingerprint date and future court date. Incident ST25002503.

On Thursday night a 29-year-old male attended the front counter of the St Thomas Police Service to turn himself in on an outstanding warrant for shoplifting. The St Thomas resident was arrested, fingerprinted and released with a future court date and conditions. Incident ST25002506.

On Thursday night officers on general patrol observed a 34-year-old male known to them to be wanted on a warrant held by the St Thomas Police Service for breach of probation. The St Thomas resident was arrested and released with a fingerprint date and future court date. Incident ST25002507.
