Warrant Arrests
On Saturday afternoon, police were responding to a call for service involving a 66 year old St Thomas man. While dealing with the matter at hand, police learned that a bench warrant existed for the man’s arrest. The man had missed his court appearance to answer to the charge of Assault. Police arrested the man without incident and released him at the scene with a future court date. ^1150
On Saturday evening, Kirkland OPP notified the St Thomas Police Service of a 40 year old male that was in their custody. The male was wanted by the STPS for failing to comply with a court order. Kirkland OPP released the male on behalf of the STPS with a future court date. ^1158
Late in the evening on Saturday, police located a 34 year old St Thomas female that police recognized as being wanted. It was confirmed that a bench warrant had been issued after the female failed to attend court to answer to charges of failing to comply with her probation. The female was arrested and released from the scene with a future court date. ^1160
Mischief
On Saturday afternoon a local resident called police reporting damage to her vehicle that occurred sometime overnight on Friday. The vehicle was parked in the driveway of a north end home at the time the damage occurred. ^1151
