Youth Charged

A youth has been arrested and charged following an investigation after several reports of paintballs being shot from a moving vehicle.  The youth was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Colin McGregor Building where they were charged with Take Motor Vehicle Without Consent, Assault with a Weapon, Mischief to Property x2, Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle and Flight from Police.  The youth was released into the custody of an adult on an Undertaking and will appear in youth court at a later date to answer to the charges. ^17957

Arrest

Twenty nine year old Bryor Kiff was arrested early Monday morning around 8:30 am.  Kiff was wanted by police in connection to a disturbance on Friday that resulted in two men being robbed and their vehicle damaged.  Kiff was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Colin McGregor Building for processing.  He was charged with Break and Enter, Robbery x2 and Mischief to Property Over $5000.  Kiff was held in custody for a bail court appearance.  Two other suspects, thirty six year old Dwayne Smith and thirty two year old Michael Maginn are wanted in connection to this incident. ^18409

Mischief to Vehicle

Police are investigating after a vehicle parked in the lane way of a home on Princess Avenue was entered early this morning just after midnight.  The owner saw a man rummaging inside the cab of his truck and contacted police.  The suspect fled the area leaving the vehicle’s steering column damaged.  If you have any information about this incident or saw anything suspicious in the area please contact STPS at 519-631-1224 or www.stthomas-elgincrimestoppers.ca Refer to case #ST22018508
