Women Threatened With A Weapon Leads To Arrest

A St. Thomas Police Officer on patrol in the city came across a disturbance at a Princess Ave. residence on Saturday night.  Officers learned that two females, a 21 year old and 19 year old  had been threatened and assaulted with a weapon.  A 20 year old St. Thomas man was arrested as a result.  The male faces threats charges, assault with a weapon charges and was also on Probation.  A search warrant was conducted at the residence following his arrest and the weapons involved were seized. The male has been held for Weekend and Statutory Holiday Court and will make an appearance this morning.
 
Police Issue Another Reminder to Lock Your Vehicles At Night
St. Thomas Police are reminding the public again to ensure vehicles are locked overnight.  Several vehicles were entered Friday night as well as Saturday night.  Thieves appeared to be targeting vehicle and personal documentation, as well as loose change.  If suspicious activity is observed call police.
