A thirty nine year old St. Thomas woman was arrested by officers after they spotted her walking through an east end parking lot on Talbot Street yesterday around 3 pm. The woman was wanted in connection to a theft that took place back on April 3rd when she and another man stole a cart full of groceries from the Metro Grocery Store. Security video from the store recorded the couple walking out with over five hundred dollars worth of stolen merchandise. The man was located and arrested the day after the theft. The woman was held overnight in custody at the Colin McGregor Justice Building and will appear in court this morning. She is facing charges of one count of Theft Under $5000 and four counts of Breach of Probation.
