Theft
On Monday October 4, 2021 at around 6:00 in the evening a 36 year old female and 50 year old male attended the Real Canadian Superstore and stole items totaling $368.00. Both persons left the store making no attempt to pay for the merchandise. The 36 year old female was located by police. She was arrested, charged and released with a future court date. Further investigation revealed the identity of the male involved. A warrant was issued for his arrest. # 17096.
Mischief
Police are investigating an incident in the north end of the city involving suspects who damaged tires to a vehicle parked in a laneway. The first incident was overnight on October 8. The suspects punctured the rear driver’s side tire of the complainant’s vehicle. The second incident occurred overnight on Saturday at around 01:50 in the morning. The suspects punctured the the rear passenger side tire. In addition to the damage the suspects stole a bicycle trailer. Incident was captured on video. The suspect is described as male, wearing a dark hoodie, grey sweat pants, carrying a backpack, dark boots and a face covering. If anyone has information about this incident please refer to #17348.
Assault & Mischief
Police attended an address on Wellington Street for an assault and damage to property investigation. Police took a 27 year old male into custody but later released him unconditionally. As a result of the investigation police are trying to locate the owners for a Stihl orange and grey leaf blower. # 17408.
