Theft

Arson

Police are investigating after a gas can was ignited inside a building under construction located at the corner of Queen and Centre Street sometime overnight Thursday August 4th.  The burnt out can was discovered early Friday morning.  It appeared the fire was contained to the can leaving the can melted but no other damage to the building.  If you have any information about this incident or saw anything suspicious in the area please contact STPS at 519-631-1224 or www.stthomas-elgincrimestoppers.ca Refer to case #ST22012288

Mischief

Twenty six year old Philip Zellman is wanted by police after he was identified as the suspect recorded on security video defacing a city mural with spray paint.  He is wanted for one count of Mischief to Property and one count Breach of Probation. ^12290

Vehicle Entry

Utter Threats

Forty five year old Michelle Caron is wanted by police for one count of Uttering Threats to Cause Death or Bodily Harm after Officers on Community Patrol responded to a disturbance.  Caron is alleged to have threatened a woman during a dispute.  ^12316

Stolen Bike

Break and Enter

Police are investigating after a family interrupted a break and enter to their home on Myrtle Street east of First Avenue early Saturday morning around 12:30 am.  Residents report a male wearing baggy shorts, blue t-shirt and red baseball cap opened the sliding patio door to the home. Break and Enter
