Warrant
A fifty nine year old London man was arrested early Saturday morning around 4 am in London.  London Police Officers were dealing with the man on an unrelated matter when they discovered he was wanted on a warrant by STPS.  The man was taken into custody without incident and transferred to the Colin McGregor Justice Building where he was held for court.  The warrant was issued back in May of 2018 after the man was recorded on security video at Walmart stealing a large screen TV.  He was charged one count Theft Under $5000.
Arrest
A twenty six year old St. Thomas man was arrested early Saturday morning around 12:30 am after being recorded on security video earlier the same night throwing a brick through the window of a downtown homeless drop in centre on Talbot Street.  The man pried the bricks off a decorative ledge at a neighbouring store before using it to cause the damage.  He was taken into custody without incident and held at the Colin McGregor Justice Building for court. He is charged two counts Mischief to Property Under $5000, three counts Breach of Release Conditions and and one count Theft Under $5000
Arrest
A thirty six year old St. Thomas man was arrested Saturday morning around 11:30 am after causing a disturbance in front of a store on Edward Street.  The man was pan handling near the front door when he was asked to leave by store management.  The man became irate yelling and refusing to leave.  Police were called and the man was taken into custody.  He was charged one count Utter Threats, one count Cause Disturbance and one count Breach of Release Conditions.  The man was held at the Colin McGregor Justice Building for court.
Stolen Bike
Police are investigating after a blue mountain bike was stolen from the backyard of a home on Forest Ave near Highview Drive sometime last week possibly Tuesday or Wednesday.  If you have any information about this theft or know the whereabouts of the stolen bike please call STPS at 519-631-1224 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS  stthomascrimestoppers.ca  Refer to Case #ST19013965
Stolen Bike
Police are investigating after a bike was stolen from behind the BMO bank on Talbot Street  Saturday afternoon around 12:30 am while the owner went inside for only a few moments.  The bike is described as a red and black Super Cycle mountain bike.  If you have any information about this theft or know the whereabouts of the stolen bike please call us STPS at 519-631-1224 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS  stthomascrimestoppers.ca  Refer to Case #ST19013970
Found Bike
St. Thomas Police have located an abandoned bike and made a successful match back to the owner thanks to the Garage529 free online bike registry!  The owner had registered the bike allowing police to confirm the match!  Register your bike today!  Go to www.stps.on.ca and click the link!
Warrant
A thirty five year old St. Thomas man was arrested Saturday night around 11:30 pm on Talbot St after police recognized him as being wanted on a warrant.  The man was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Colin McGregor Justice Building for processing.  The warrant was issued after the man was charged with breaching his release conditions during a compliance check last month.  Police attended his court ordered release address only to discover he never lived there.
Warrant
A twenty nine year old Port Stanley man was arrested by the Elgin County O.P.P early Sunday morning around 4 am in Port Stanley.  O.P.P officers were dealing with the man on an unrelated matter when they discovered he was wanted on a bench warrant.  The warrant was issued after the man failed to attend his court date to answer to charges resulting from an incident back in July.  The man was charged with Assault with a Weapon, Carrying a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose and two counts of Breach of Release Conditions after assaulting his room mate with a crow bar. He was transferred to the Colin McGregor Justice Building and held for court.
Stolen Bike

A thirty year old St. Thomas man was arrested in London Sunday morning around 9 am.  London Police Officers were dealing with the man on an unrelated matter when they discovered he was wanted on a bench warrant.  The man was taken into custody without incident and transferred to the Colin McGregor Justice Building to be held for court.  The warrant was issued after the man failed to attend his court date to answer to charges of mischief and breaching his release conditions.
Arrest
A twenty year old St. Thomas man was arrested Sunday afternoon around 1:30 pm after a verbal dispute with is estranged nineteen year old girlfriend became physical.  The man is alleged to have pushed the woman during the argument.  He was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Colin McGregor Justice Building for processing.  The man was charged one count Domestic Assault and later released on a Promise to Appear in Court.
