A forty eight year old St. Thomas man wanted on a warrant by STPS turned himself in at the Colin McGregor Justice Building yesterday morning around 8 am. The man was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Elgin County Court House for an appearance. The warrant was issued after police received reports of the man breaching his release conditions.

A seventeen year old London youth wanted on a warrant by the St. Thomas Police Service was arrested yesterday morning around 11:30 am after turning themselves in at the Colin McGregor Justice Building. The youth was taken into custody without incident for processing and later released into the custody of a parent in a Promise to Appear in Youth Court. The warrant was issued after the youth was identified as the suspect in an assault back in June and was charged one count Robbery and one count Obstruct Police.
Public Mischief
A thirty five year old St. Thomas man was arrested yesterday around the noon hour when he turned himself in at the Colin McGregor Justice Building. The arrest comes after the man called 911 to report being robbed in a Curtis Street parking lot early Monday morning around 8:30 am by two men driving a black car. Further investigation by the Criminal Investigations Unit revealed the incident did not occur as reported, it actually never occurred at all. The man admitted to making a false police report and was charged with one count of Public Mischief. He was taken into custody without incident and later released on a Promise to Appear in court.
Warrant
A twenty seven year old St. Thomas woman was arrested yesterday afternoon around 3:30 pm on Talbot Street. Police were dealing with the woman on an unrelated matter when they discovered she was wanted on a warrant by the London Police Service. The woman was taken into custody without incident and transferred to the custody of London Police Officers for processing.
