Warrants/ Possession of Stolen Property

Four Arrested on Outstanding Warrants
On January 28th, 2019, 29 year old Bradley Caruso was arrested by the London Police Service on outstanding warrants held by the St Thomas Police for theft under $5000 x 2, public mischief and failing to attend court.  Caruso was in custody in London courts on an unrelated matter at the time.  He was brought back to St Thomas where he was released on a Promise to Appear with a future court date.
On January 28th, 2019, 23 year old Rene-Preston Waller was in custody in London courts on an unrelated matter when he was arrested by the St Thomas Police on an outstanding warrant for possession of property obtained by crime under $5000.  He was released on a Promise to Appear with a future court date.
On January 28th, 2019, 28 year old Dean Chesney was arrested on outstanding warrants held by the St Thomas Police for take motor vehicle without consent and failing to attend court by the London Police Service.  Chesney was in custody in London courts at the time on an unrelated matter.  He was released from custody on a Promise to Appear with a future court date.
On January 28th, 2019, while on patrol officers of the St Thomas Police Service located and arrested 36 year old Robert Smith who had an outstanding warrant for possession of property obtained by crime under $5000 and failing to attend court.  Smith was held in custody where he awaits a court appearance today.
 
Possession of Stolen Property
On January 28th, 2019, St Thomas Police officers responded to a downtown business where a 25 year old female from St Thomas was attempting to cash in a cheque that had been reported stolen.  This female was still on scene upon police arrival and was arrested for uttering a forged document, personation and possession of property obtained by crime under $5000.
