Warrants/Fire

On Saturday January 26, 2019 a 42 year old St. Thomas male was arrested on outstanding charges of criminal harassment, breach of his recognizance and breach of probation.  Upon being arrested it was determined that he was further breaching his conditions and subsequently additional charges were laid.  The accused was held for morning court.
Also, a 23 year old St. Thomas male arrested on an outstanding warrant by the St. Thomas Police.  He was processed at the station and released with a future court date.
****Police also responded to a fire at a nursing home on the evening of January 26, 2019 to assist the St. Thomas Fire Department.  This matter is currently being investigated by the St. Thomas Fire Department and the Ontario Fire Marshall’s Office with assistance from the St. Thomas Police Service.  All questions can be directed at this time to Fire Inspector Bill Todd at 519-631-0210.
