Warrants

Forty seven year old James Dionne of no fixed address is wanted.   A bench warrant was issued for his arrest after he failed to attend his scheduled court date to answer to several charges of Theft Under $5000

Twenty five year old Jaydan Claus of St. Thomas was arrested Tuesday night.  Officers on Community Patrol were dealing with him on an unrelated matter when they discovered he was wanted on a bench warrant.  The warrant was issued after he failed to attend his scheduled court date to answer to charges of being in possession of stolen property.  He was taken into custody without incident for processing and later released on an Appearance Notice for court.

Twenty nine year old Kelly Kline of no fixed address is wanted.  A bench warrant was issued for her arrest after she failed to attend her scheduled court date to answer to charges of Theft Under $5000.

Forty year old Amanda Percival of no fixed address is wanted.  A bench warrant was issued for her arrest after she failed to attend her scheduled court date to answer to several theft and fraud related charges.  She is wanted for Possession of Stolen Property, Use Unauthorized Credit Card x2, Assault, Theft Under $5000 x3, Break and Enter and Breach of Court Ordered Release Conditions.

Break and Enter

Police are investigating after a fenced compound on Currah Road was broken into sometime Tuesday overnight.  A work van parked inside the compound had a window smashed.  Nothing appears to have been stolen at this time.  If you have any information about this incident or saw anything suspicious in the area please contact STPS at 519-631-1224 or submit a tip online at www.stthomascrimestoppers.ca Refer to case #ST22008580

Break and Enter

Police are investigating a break and enter to a home under construction on Welch Court.  Sometime Monday thieves forced their way into the home through the door leading in from the garage.  Several boxes of flooring were reported missing.  Witnesses report seeing an older man driving a light brown Ford Escape back into the garage and enter the home.  If you have any information about this break and enter or saw anything suspicious in the area please contact STPS at 519-631-1224 or submit a tip online at www.stthomascrimestoppers. ca Refer to case #ST22008581

Shoplift

Police are investigating after staff from a grocery store located on the west end of Talbot Street reported seeing a woman leave the store with a bag full of stolen groceries.  She was last seen headed towards Talbot Street around 3 pm on Monday afternoon. ^8589

Sexual Assault

As the result of an investigation conducted by detectives from the STPS Criminal Investigations Branch, a twenty two year old London man has been arrested and charged with sexual assault.  The man was taken into custody without incident Tuesday after he turned himself in at the Colin McGregor Building.  He was later released on an Undertaking with court date. ^7182

Arrest

Thirty six year old Ashely Swick of St. Thomas was arrested Tuesday afternoon and a stolen truck was recovered.  Officers on Community Patrol observed Swick with the stolen truck and noticed the license plates had been switched.  The new plate was also reported stolen.  Swick was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Colin McGregor Building for processing.  She is charged with Possession of Stolen Property Over $5000, Possession of Stolen Property Under $5000, Use Altered Plate and Use Plate Not Authorized for Vehicle.  She was held in custody for a bail court appearance. ^8600

Stolen Bike

Theft

Police are investigating after a thirty seven year old man of no fixed address was observed shoplifting from Canadian Tire Tuesday.  The man turned over the stolen items after he was approached by staff.  The man is also currently trespassed from the property for previous thefts.  ^8622
