Bike Finds Owner!
Police were thrilled to be able to return the blue Nakamura mountain bike posted on social media yesterday to it’s ten year old owner!  The bike had been turned into the police after is was found abandoned.  The mom of the girl contacted police after seeing the bike posted on facebook and reported it had been stolen from the side yard of their Horton Street home three weeks ago.  The bike had not been reported to police at the time of the theft.  The St Thomas Police Service urge you to PLEASE report your bike stolen at the time of the theft.  It is of great assistance to officers to know if a bike is stolen in a timely manner for if and when the bike is recovered.  Also please take the time to register your bikes on our FREE bike registry called “Garage529”.  Go to stps.on.ca and click the link to register for free today!
