Warrant
A thirty one year old St. Thomas man was arrested yesterday afternoon around 2:30 pm after a short foot chase on Hughes Street. Officers on routine patrol saw the man walking on Kains Street and recognized him as being wanted on a warrant after his court approved surety revoked their responsibilities. The man was eventually taken into custody and transported back to the Elgin Middlesex Detention Centre. The man had been released back into the community with surety after being charged with Break and Enter, Mischief to Property, Assault with a Weapon and Uttering Threats.

A twenty three year old woman formerly of St. Thomas was arrested yesterday afternoon around 2:30 pm in London by London Police. London Officers were dealing with the woman on an unrelated matter when they discovered she was wanted on a warrant by St. Thomas Police. The woman was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Colin McGregor Justice Building where she was held for court. The warrant stems from an incident back in 2017 where the woman was charged with Theft Under $5000 and Fail to Attend Court.

A forty eight year old St. Thomas woman was arrested last night around 11:30 pm on First Ave. Officers were dealing with an unrelated matter when they saw the woman and recognized her as being wanted on a bench warrant. The woman was taken into custody without incident and held at the Colin McGregor Justice Building for court. The warrant was issued after the woman failed to attend her court date to answer to Fraud charges.
Warrant
A thirty seven year old St. Thomas man was arrested early this morning around 3:30 am in a parking lot on Centre Street near Princess Avenue. Officers were dealing with the man on an unrelated incident when they discovered he was wanted on a warrant by London Police Service. Police seized a butterfly knife from the man while taking him into custody. As a result he was charged one count Possession of a Prohibited Weapon and two counts Breach of Release Conditions. He was held in custody at the Colin McGregor Justice Building for court to answer to the St. Thomas charges before being transported to London Police for Processing.
