Warrant

A forty two year old St. Thomas man is wanted on a warrant.  A bench warrant was issued for his arrest after he failed to attend his scheduled court date to answer to charges of Sexual Assault.  ^13125

Arrest

A fifty three year old St. Thomas man was arrested Tuesday after he turned himself in at the Colin McGregor Building.  The man was wanted after he was alleged to have assaulted his neighbour during an argument.  He was taken into custody without incident for processing and later released on an Undertaking with court date.  He was charged with one count of assault.   ^15667

Warrant

A thirty four year old St. Thomas man wanted on a warrant was arrested in London.  Officers from the London Police Service were dealing with the man when they discovered he was wanted.  A probation warrant was issued for his arrest after he was alleged to have breached his court ordered release conditions.  He was taken into custody without incident for processing and later released on an Appearance Notice for court. ^15676

Theft

Police are investigating after a pair of shoes were reported stolen from a shoe store inside the Elgin Centre Tuesday afternoon.  The male suspect was wearing all black clothing with a black baseball cap and a black backpack.  A pair of men’s Under Armour runners valued at $120 were taken.  If you have any information about this theft or saw anything suspicious in the area please contact STPS at 519-631-1224 or www.stthomas-elgincrimestoppers.ca Refer to case #ST22015680

Theft

Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere

Officers on Community Patrol conducted a RIDE spot check Tuesday night.  Appproximately sixty five drivers were spoken to.  Once roadside screening for alcohol was conducted with the driver registering a pass.  ^15691

Impaired

A forty one year old St. Thomas man was arrested Tuesday night after a concerned reported seeing a male unconscious in his running vehicle.  Officers on Community Patrol responded to a parking lot on Wellington Street and suspected the male was impaired by drug.  He was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Colin McGregor Building where he was examined by a Drug Recognition Expert Officer who confirmed the driver was impaired by Alcohol and Drug.  He was charged with one count Operation while Impaired by Alcohol an dDrug and later released on an Undertaking with court date. ^  15696

Warrant

A forty year old man of no fixed address was arrested Tuesday night. Officers on Community Patrol recognized the man as being wanted on a warrant.  A probation warrant had been issued for his arrest after he was alleged to have breached his court ordered release conditions.  He was taken into custody without incident for processing and later released on an Appearance Notice for court. ^15704
