Warrant

Thirty seven year old Lynn Wall of no fixed address was arrested Thursday on Talbot Street by Officers on the Downtown Beat Patrol Unit.  Police recognized her as being wanted on a warrant.  The warrant was issued after Wall was alleged to have breached her release conditions.  She was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Colin McGregor Building for processing.  She was later released on an Undertaking with court date. ^14407

Fail to Stop for School Bus

A forty seven year old St. Thomas woman had been fined for failing to stop for a school bus.  The bus was stopped with red lights activated on First Ave near Chestnut Street Thursday morning just after 8 am when a vehicle drove through the lights.  Police located the vehicle later the same day and ticketed the driver.  The fine for failing to stop for a school bus is $490 and six demerit points.  Please remember to stop for the red flashing lights of a school bus.

Warrant

A sixteen year old St. Thomas youth wanted on a warrant for Dangerous Driving was arrested Thursday.  Officers on Community Patrol were dealing with the youth on an unrelated matter when they discovered they were wanted.  The youth was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Colin McGregor Building for processing.  The youth was held in custody for a bail court appearance. ^14414

Theft

A bike locked to a fence behind 65 Curtis Street was stolen sometime Wednesday overnight.  The bike is described as a black and grey CCM mountain bike.  If you have any information about this incident or saw anything suspicious in the area please contact STPS at 519-631-1224 or www.stthomascrimestoppers. ca Refer to case #ST22014420

Domestic Assault

A forty year old St. Thomas man was arrested Thursday after police were called to a disturbance.  When Officers on Community Patrol arrived they discovered the man was alleged to have assaulted a female during an argument.  The man was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Colin McGregor Building for processing.  He was charged with one count of Assault and two counts Breach of Release Conditions.  He was later released on an Undertaking with court date. ^14435

Bike Registry Reunites Stolen Bike with Owner

Police were able to return a stolen bike to its rightful owner after matching the two using the STPS online bike registry.  To register your bike visit our website at www.stps.on.ca.  ^14441

Insecure Vehicle

Officers on Community Patrol located a vehicle with the door open last night.  The owner was contacted and advised he had forgotten to secure the vehicle after unloading items.  Please remember to adopt a nightly routine of securing your property.  ^14444
