A forty seven year old woman of no fixed address was arrested Thursday afternoon on Princess Avenue. Officers were dealing with the woman on an unrelated matter when they discovered she was wanted on a warrant She was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Colin McGregor Building for processing. She was later released on an Appearance Notice for court. ^6965

Theft
A forty two year old man of no fixed address was arrested Thursday afternoon. Officers on Community Patrol were called to the LCBO after staff observed a man run from the store with a stolen bottle of alcohol. Officers located the man hiding behind a dumpster and took him into custody without incident. He was transported to the Colin McGregor Building where he was charged with one count of Theft Under $5000 and later released on an Undertaking with court date. ^6973

Police are investigating after a storage container outside a fast food trailer on Burwell Road was broken into. The owner discovered a pad lock had been cut off the door but no entry was made. Traffic Stop Leads to Arrest
A twenty five year old St. Thomas man was arrested Thursday afternoon during a traffic stop. Officers on Community Patrol discovered he was wanted on a bench warrant. The warrant was issued after he failed to attend his scheduled court date. He was taken into custody without incident for processing. The man was also charged additionally for driving without a license and driving without insurance. He was later released on an Appearance Notice for court. ^7006

The bench warrant was issued after she failed to attend her scheduled court date to answer to several theft and shoplifting related charges.
