Vehicle Entry

A vehicle parked in the lane way of a home on Manitoba Street was entered sometime Tuesday overnight. A vehicle parked on Redan Street near Inkerman was entered sometime Tuesday overnight.  A wallet containing debit, credit and identification cards was reported stolen.  Please remember to lock your vehicle and take valuables inside. ^15740

Break and Enter

Arrest

Thirty three year old Brooks Ferris of no fixed address was arrested Wednesday.  A citizen reported seeing Ferris in a parking lot entering vehicles.  Officers on Community Patrol attended the area and located him a short distance away.  He was taken into custody without incident.  During processing Police seized a butterfly knife.  As a result Ferris was charged with two counts of Attempt Theft and one count of Unauthorized Possession of a Prohibited Weapon.  He was later released on an Appearance Notice for court. ^15727

Warrant

A twenty year old man of no fixed address was arrested Wednesday afternoon by Special Constables with the Community Resources Unit.  The Special Constables were on Princess Avenue when they recognized the male as being wanted on a warrant.  The warrant was issued after the man was identified as the suspect wanted in connection to a trespass by night and attempt theft of bicycle investigation. He was taken into custody without incident for processing and later released on an Appearance Notice for court. ^15732

Impaired

A thirty four year old London woman was arrested and charged with impaired driving Wednesday afternoon during a traffic stop.  Officers on Community Patrol suspected the woman was under the influence of alcohol while driving with her child in the backseat.  She was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Colin McGregor Building where breath samples taken indicated she had over twice the legal limit of alcohol in her system.  The woman was charged with Operation While Impaired – Blood Alcohol Concentration 80 plus.  She was later released on an Undertaking with court date.   ^15739

Trespass by Night

A forty year old man of no fixed address was arrested early Thursday morning after a citizen reported seeing two suspicious men walking through backyards.  Officers on Community Patrol located the man in the backyard of a home on Victoria Street.  He was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Colin McGregor Building.  During processing Police seized several break and enter tools.  As a result the man was charged with Trespass by Night, Possession of Break and Enter Tools and Breach of Probation.  He was later released on an Undertaking with court date. ^15763
