Numerous Vehicle Entries Reported This Holiday Season
St. Thomas Police are again asking the public to be vigilant when it comes to locking their own personal and work vehicles. Numerous complaints have been received during this holiday season where thefts have occurred from vehicles both parked on the streets and in personal lane ways. Police also encourage citizens to not leave valuables in plain view in their vehicles to discourage these thefts.
35 Year Old St. Thomas Man Arrested Again
35 year old St. Thomas resident, Joseph Penfound, was arrested again Thursday for 2 separate counts of failing to comply with a condition of his probation. Along with the Probation breaches, Penfound has been charged with Break and Enter, in regards to a complaint on December 24th at a Talbot Street address. On December 27th Penfound was also charged with Possession of Property Obtained by Crime, after being found in possession of a motorcycle previously reported stolen to the London Police Service. The motorcycle has been recovered, and Penfound has been held in custody pending a court appearance.
