Utter Forged Document/Warrant

On Thursday February 28, 2019 a 33 year old male attended a local cheque cashing store in St. Thomas.  The male attempted to tender a cheque however the keen employee was suspicious of the male’s activity.  As a result, the employee made some inquiries about the cheque and learned in was stolen from a business in London.  The St. Thomas Police were contacted and subsequently Mathew Irwin was arrested and charged with uttering a forged document, possession of stolen property and three counts of breach of probation.  Irwin was held for court.
In the early hours of March 1, 2019 the London Police Service arrested a 29 year old male on an outstanding warrant held by the St. Thomas Police Service.  The male was transported to St. Thomas and also held for morning court.
