UNLAWFULLY IN A DWELLING/RESIST ARREST
On Saturday May 28, 2022 the St. Thomas Police attended a residence in the south end of the city for a male who was out of control. Police located and arrested a 25 year old male who had entered the residence unlawfully. While being arrested the male resisted officers. As such the male has been charged with being unlawfully in a dwelling and resist arrest. He was held for morning court.
WARRANT
On Saturday May 28, 2022 the St. Thomas Police arrested a 43 year old female on an outstanding warrant for break and enter and breach of probation. She was transported to the station where she was processed and later released with a future court date.
THEFT
On Sunday May 29, 2022 in the early morning hours the St. Thomas Police were notified about a theft of plants from behind a local grocery store. Investigation revealed that a 36 year old female had stolen the plants. Further investigation revealed that the female was on a release order from the courts not to attend the grocery store. As a result the female was arrested. Once under arrest police located drugs on her person. The female is subsequently charged with theft under $5000, failing to comply with release order and possession of a controlled substance. She was held for morning court.
ASSAULT
On Sunday May 29, 2022 the St. Thomas Police were contacted regarding an assault at a local bar. Investigation revealed that a female party was denied entry to the establishment due to her level of intoxication. As a result the female assaulted an employee of the bar. A 29 year old female was arrested and charged with assault and being intoxicated in a public place. She was later released with a future court date.
