St. Thomas police are investigating after a women’s debit card was stolen from her purse at the Metro grocery store. It is believed that 2 male suspects approached the female inside and outside of the store. One of the males created a distraction while it is believe the other stole the card from her purse. The debit card was used several times in the following hours in excess of $3000. According to the victim a bystander may have witnessed the incident and may have obtained information that could be useful in this investigation.
