Theft
Police are investigating after a storage freezer outside a restaurant located at Elm and First Ave was broken into sometime Monday overnight. The lock was cut and several boxes of food was taken from the freezer. Warrant
A twenty two year old man from Waterloo was arrested Tuesday after he turned himself in at the Colin McGregor Building. A warrant was issued for his arrest after he was identified as the suspect wanted in connection to a gas drive off in June. He was taken into custody without incident for processing and charged with Theft Under $5000. He was later released on an Appearance Notice for court. ^13850
Warrant
A twenty six year old male of no fixed address was arrested Tuesday night. Officers on Community Patrol were dealing with the man on an unrelated matter when they discovered he was wanted on a bench warrant. The warrant was issued after the man failed to attend his scheduled court date to answer to charges of being in possession of stolen property. He was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Colin McGregor Building for processing. He was held in custody for a bail court appearance. ^13885
Mischief
Forty year old Shawn Fisher of no fixed address was arrested Tuesday evening. Fisher is alleged to have thrown a brick at a vehicle stopped for a red light on Talbot Street at Flora. The driver phoned police and Fisher was located a short distance away. He was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Colin McGregor Building for processing. He was charged with Mischief to Property Under $5000 and three counts Breach of Release Conditions. He was later released on an Undertaking with court date. ^13871
