Theft
Several tools have been reported stolen from the trunk of a car parked under a car port at a residence on Elgin Street near St. Anne’s Place. The theft occurred sometime Wednesday overnight. Thieves were able to pop the trunk open after the vehicle was left unlocked. Drugs
A thirty eight year old St. Thomas man was arrested early Friday morning around 2 am on Burwell road after officers on Community Patrol observed the man and recognized him as being wanted on a warrant by the OPP. He was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Colin McGregor Justice Building. During processing police seized 5.6 grams of Crystal Methamphetamine, scales and a small amount of cash. The man was charged additionally with Drug Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking. He was held for a court appearance on the charges and transferred into the custody of the OPP.
