Police are investigating after two industrial air conditioners had the wire harnesses stripped sometime over the weekend. The units were located on the roof the the Van Pelt’s Office Supply Store located at 800 Talbot Street. Forty year old Shawn Fisher of no fixed address was arrested Tuesday around 11 am on Moore Street. Fisher was wanted by police after he was identified as the suspect recorded on video stealing a bike from outside the Taco Bell Restaurant on Talbot Street. Officers on Community Patrol located Fisher and the bike a short time later on Moore Street. He was taken into custody without incident for processing and charged with one count Theft Under $5000 and one count Breach of Release Conditions. He was later released on a Appearance Notice for court. The bike was returned to the rightful owner. ^14282
Later the same day Shawn Fisher was arrested again after he threw a gatorade bottle at a woman on Talbot Street striking her. The incident took place near the intersection of Princess Ave around 3 pm. Officers on Community Patrol took Fisher into custody again without incident and transported him to the Colin McGregor Building for processing. He was charged with one count Assault with a Weapon and three counts Breach of Release Condition. He was held in custody for a bail court appearance. No injuries were reported. ^14292
A forty five year old St. Thomas woman wanted on a warrant was arrested Tuesday after she turned herself in a the Colin McGregor Building. The warrant was issued after she was alleged to have threatened a neighbour during a dispute. She was taken into custody without incident for processing and later released on an Undertaking with court date. ^14287
A vehicle parked in the parking garage located behind 330 Talbot Street was entered sometime between Thursday and today. Some tools were reported stolen. A blue and green CCM mountain bike was reported stolen from the bike rack located in front of the Library on Curtis Street. The bike was taken Tuesday evening between 5pm – 6 pm.
