Fail to comply
A 35 year old man from St Thomas was arrested last night after a compliance check conducted revealed he was not living at the address he provided to courts or abiding by a court imposed curfew. The man was held in custody pending a video court appearance.
Assault/Mischief
On September 14th, 2019 shortly before midnight, police were called to a north end apartment building for a disturbance. Officers discovered that an intoxicated male had attended the apartment where he does not reside and began to get into an argument with the residents who were trying to get him to leave. The male became enraged and kicked out a glass door before leaving on foot. A short time after, the male created another disturbance on Talbot Street where a pedestrian began to call police. The male then assaulted the caller and smashed the cell phone during the call to 911. Police arrived and took the male into custody. He was held until sober and released with a future court date and conditions. The victim did not sustain any injuries from the assault.
Theft
A black Supercycle men’s mountain bike was take from a Simcoe Street address sometime overnight of September 13th. The bike is described as having a red spring under the seat, red forks, yellow stickers and white zip ties on the handlebars and remains outstanding.
