Sometime between 27Aug22 and 3pm on Sept 2nd, a shed at the rear of a property on Flora Street had been broken into. Suspects stole a quantity of Dewalt power tools, a lawnmower, and a purple CCM bicycle. Ref# ST22013992.
On Sept 1st, 2022 at approximately 11:37am St. Thomas Police officers attended a residence on Barnes Street regarding a stolen bicycle. The complainant reported to police that his son’s bright blue Rocky Mountain bicycle was stolen from the residence sometime overnight on Sept 1st. Ref# ST22013974.
On Sept 2nd, 2022 at approximately 10am, a bicycle was stolen from a residence on Highview Drive. After speaking with the complainant, police officers searched the area for the bicycle and located it a short distance away being operated by a female. Police seized the bike and returned it back to the proper owner.
On Sept 2nd, 2022 at approximately 1pm, St. Thomas Police officers observed a male in the area of Hincks Street and Talbot Street who was presently wanted on an arrest warrant. Police arrested 31-year-old Lucas Mackenzie on the strength of the warrant and later released with a future court date and conditions.
On Sept 2nd, 2022 at approximately 5pm, 20-year-old Matthew Peters attended the St. Thomas Police station and turned himself in as he was wanted on an arrest warrant. This male was later released with a future court date and conditions.
On Sept 2nd, 2022 at approximately 5pm St. Thomas Police officers attended an address on Sinclair Ave regarding a citizen finding a dirt bike on their property. Through investigation, the dirt bike had been previously reported stolen. Police seized the dirt bike and returned it back to the proper owner.
