On the 24th of December 2022 Police responded to a south end residence regarding an unwanted person. The unwanted 18 year old male was wanted by the St. Thomas Police on an outstanding warrant for uttering threats. He arrested without incident and transported to the Colin McGregor Justice Building where he was released on undertaking. Following his release by the St. Thomas Police Service, custody was transferred to the Elgin County OPP who also held warrants for this St. Thomas man.
On the 24th of December 2022, Police responded to a south end residence regarding a domestic dispute. A verbal argument turned physical which resulted in a 35 male being arrested and charged with one count of domestic related assault.
