The St. Thomas Police Service is issuing a compassionate plea for assistance. A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle this morning at 8:15 am as they crossed Curtis Street northbound at St. George Street on the east sidewalk. Injuries are life threatening. The pedestrian was not carrying any identification and emergency services are unable to identify who this person is or locate any family.
The pedestrian is described as:
Male
Caucasian
Heavy set 250-300 lbs
Mid 50’s to 60 years of age
Brown Cargo Style Shorts
Red t-shirt
White Sneakers
Brownish/ Grey Hair
Receding Hair Line
Goatee/Facial Stubble
No Scars
No Tattoos
