A 2004 Black Infinity G35 Licence Plate: CEXP 061, that had previously been reported stolen to STPS was recovered last evening at a London address. London Police contacted STPS shortly after 6 pm that the vehicle had been located at a Wharncliffe Avenue address. The vehicle is being held at STPS where it will be further processed by STPS Forensic Identifications Officers.
Local Man Wanted : Arrested
St. Thomas Police located a 42 yr old wanted city man yesterday shortly after 2pm. The man was wanted for failing to attend court on a separate matter. The man was taken into custody and later released with a new court date.
Reminder to Lock you Outbuildings
St. Thomas Police are issuing a reminder to ensure outbuildings on your property are locked when not in use. This comes after another break and enter was reported, this time at a Mandeville Road address. Thieves helped themselves to several gardening and power tools sometime during the night on May 25th, 2019.
Alcohol Fueled Night Ends With Assault Charge
A 26 year old St. Thomas man faces an assault charge after an alcohol filled evening came to an end. Shortly after 2 am an officer on patrol came across a disturbance on the front yard of a city home. After investigating further it was learned that the 26 year old and 31 year old victim had previously been at a function in the city and were consuming alcohol there. The 26 year old, allegedly unprovoked, assaulted the other male on the front yard of his home, causing bystanders to step in. The 31 year old male was transported by Ambulance to St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital with minor non-life threatening injuries. The 26 year old accused male was arrested and later released with a future court date.
