Stolen Vehicle Recovered -Male Still Wanted

In the early morning hours of August 31st, St Thomas Police recovered the stolen 2017 Ford F-150 in the area of Talbotville. A K-9 search was conducted but the suspect was not located. This morning, Elgin County OPP responded to a Ford Road address for a report of a stolen 2010 Toyota Rav-4, green in colour in which it is believed the suspect fled. The plate for this vehicle is personalized JAIMIEE. St Thomas Police continue to actively search for 36 year old James Alexander Brown who is known to frequent both the London and St Thomas area. If anyone has seen Brown, or knows his whereabouts, please do not approach and contact 911 or your local police agency immediately.

29 year old Michael Maginn of St Thomas has been arrested and charged with trespass by night, theft under $5000 and breach of probation. The charges come after a homeowner noticed parts of his bicycle had been stolen overnight and reviewed home surveillance cameras. Maginn has been released from custody and is to appear in court in October.
