Stolen Motorcycle Recovered

Police have recovered a black Honda CBR motorcycle reported stolen from London.  The motorcycle was discovered abandoned in a parking lot on Curtis near Mondamin Street.  Police continue to investigate.  If you have any information about this incident or saw anything suspicious in the area please contact STPS at 519-631-1224.  Refer to case #ST22012616

Theft

A thirty seven year old man of no fixed address was arrested Wednesday night on Mondamin Street.  Officers on Community Patrol recognized the man as being wanted after he was identified as the suspect recorded on store security video stealing accessories from a cell phone store on Talbot Street earlier the same day.  He was approached by Loss Prevention outside the store and turned over the items before fleeing the area.  He was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Colin McGregor Building for processing.  He was charged with Theft Under $5000 and later released on an Undertaking with court date. ^12619

Break and Enter

A shed located behind a home on Centre Street was broken into Wednesday night.  The lock had been pried open and a bicycle trailer was reported stolen from inside the shed.  Officers on Community Patrol located the stolen trailer outside a homeless shelter on Princess Avenue.  The trailer was returned to the owner.  Police continue to investigate.  If you have any information about this break and enter or saw anything suspicious in the area please contact STPS at 519-631-1224 or www.stthomas-elgincrimestoppers.ca Refer to case #ST22012642

Stolen eBike
St. Thomas Police are investigating after an ebike parked in the lot of a repair shop on Princess Ave was stolen around 11pm Tuesday night. Suspect to Identify
Police are looking to identify this suspect in connection to a break and enter at Wimpy’s Restaurant. Some beer was reported stolen from the cooler.
