Stolen Jeep Cherokee Recovered/Mischief/Arrest Warrant

Stolen Jeep Cherokee Recovered
On October 4th, the St. Thomas Police received notice from the Oneida Police Service that they had recovered the stolen 2000 silver Jeep Cherokee with Ontario licence plate BPRB 499. The vehicle had been taken from St. Thomas on Sunday September 30th. The recovered vehicle had damage to the locks and ignition but still had both licence plates attached. If anyone has information relating to possible suspects for this vehicle theft, they are asked to contact the St. Thomas Police Service at 519-631-1224 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.
On Thursday October 4, 2018 at around 8:50 a.m. police arrested a 37 year old female who was wanted in connection with a mischief which occurred earlier in the week. On October 2nd the accused threw a piece of concrete through the front glass door of a Talbot Street restaurant before fleeing the scene. As a result of this incident the female is charged with one count of Mischief Under $5000 and one count of Breach of Probation. The accused was later released with a future court date.
Arrest Warrant
At 10:40 p.m. on Thursday October 4th, an alert citizen contacted the St. Thomas Police with regards to a suspicious person who was looking down driveways with a flashlight in the area of Devonshire Place. When Police arrived they located a 25 year old man who was currently wanted on an outstanding warrant. The male was wanted in connection with an incident that occurred on Saturday September 15, 2018 where a wallet was stolen from a parked vehicle. The accused was arrested and is now charged with one count of Possession of Stolen Property. He was later released from custody with a future court date.
