Stolen Bicycle Returned

A black Norco bike that was reported stolen from the backyard of a home on Fifth Avenue sometime between August 19th and August 25th has been returned to the rightful owner.  The bike was one of many seized during a search warrant earlier this week.  ^13551

Theft

Break and Enter

Break and Enter

Police are investigating a break and enter to a home on Brock Street sometime Wednesday overnight. Impaired Driving

A forty four year old St Thomas man was arrested and charged with Impaired Driving during a traffic stop Thursday.  Officers on Community Patrol suspected the driver was impaired by alcohol.  The driver was taken into custody without incident after he failed the roadside screening.  He was transported to the Colin McGregor Building where further breath samples taken indicated he had almost three times the legal limit of alcohol in his system.  He was charged with Operation While Impaired – Blood Alcohol Concentration 80 Plus and released on an Appearance Notice for court. ^13595

Domestic Assault

A thirty one year old St. Thomas man is wanted by police for assault.  The man is alleged to have assaulted his girlfriend during an argument. No injuries were reported.  ^13608
