Stolen Bike
Police are investigating after a Blue Mongoose Mountain Bike was stolen yesterday morning around 7:40 am from the front of the Goodwill Store on Elm Street. An employee had left the bike leaning against the wall while they walked across the street to grab a coffee. When they returned the bike was gone. The bike is missing the right pedal. ALPR Hits on Stolen Licence Plates
A thirty year old female was charged with several offences yesterday after the Automatic Licence Plate Recognition system alerted officers to stolen licence plates attached to the green Honda Civic she was driving. Officers pulled the woman over on Locust Street and confirmed the licence plates were stolen from London. As a result the woman was charged with Possession of Stolen Property, Use Plate Not Authorized for Vehicle, Operate Unsafe Vehicle, Drive No Licence and Drive No Insurance. The woman was served Appearance Notices for court. The vehicle was towed from the area.
Warrant
Police have arrested a twenty year old woman wanted on a warrant for mischief after a weekend incident that resulted in her damaging property inside her ex boyfriends apartment. The woman was taken into custody yesterday evening around 5 pm after she turned herself in at the Colin McGregor Justice Building. She was later released on a Promise to Appear in court.
Breach
A twenty year old St. Thomas woman was arrested last night after police found her in an alley way off Talbot Street drinking a beer around 9:30 pm. Police responded to the area after receiving complaints from neighbouring businesses about a group loitering in the alley. When officers arrived they discovered a small gathering and identified one female in particular as currently at large in the community released by the courts with conditions to keep the peace and be of good behaviour and an alcohol prohibition. The woman was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Colin McGregor Justice Building for processing where she was later released on a Promise to Appear in court.
