On the 24th day of June 2022 St. Thomas Police attended a Wellington Street storage business for report of a mischief. It was determined that several units had their locks cut and had been entered. It appears nothing is missing at this time but the matter is still under investigation. Anyone with information is asked to contact STPS and reference incident # ST22009640.
On the 24th of June 2022 police attended a local shelter for an unwanted person. As a result police located a 19 year old male who was on conditions not to be there. The male was held in custody for court on this date.
On the 24th day of June 2022 police attended the area of Kains Street and Flora Street for a disturbance. Police determined that a 28 year old St. Thomas man had assaulted two other people on the street. The male was taken into custody without incident. The male was held in custody until sober and released on a future court date. ST22009667.
On the 24th day of June 2022 St. Thomas Police Service received a report that 16 catalytic converters had been stolen off of new vehicles that were parked in a secure compound on Edward Street. It is suspected the thefts likely occurred from June 22nd to June 23rd overnight. The value of property taken is approximately $80 000. St. Thomas Police Service is currently investigating two break and enters to residence located on Fairview Avenue. During the break and enters garages or sheds were entered and property removed.
