St. Thomas Police Service media release for Friday September 30th, 2022

On the 29th day of September 2022 police attended a Hincks Street address for a report of an attempted vehicle entry.  Police investigation revealed that two people attempted to enter the locked vehicle around 2:30 AM but were unsuccessful.  Anyone with information is asked to contact STPS.  ST22015772.

On the 22nd day of September 2022 St. Thomas Police received a complaint regarding a landlord that was making unwanted advances towards a female tenant.  As a result a 51 year old St. Thomas man is charged with Sexual Assault, Voyeurism and Sexual Exploitation.  The male was arrested without incident and released on a future court date.   ST22015798.

On the 29th day of September 2022 just before 10 PM police attended a store located at 1063 Talbot Street for a shoplifter.  Police arrested a 29 year old St. Thomas woman for theft under $5000.  All the property was recovered and returned to the store.  The female was released on a future court date.  ST22015817.

St. Thomas Police Service is currently investigating a mischief to tires on Manor Road.  The complainant has reported on six different occasions finding nails in her tires.  At this time we are seeking the public’s assistance and urge citizens to contact STPS with any information.  ST22015776.
