St. Thomas Police Media Release – Sunday June 12th, 2022

On Saturday June 11th at approximately 9am, St. Thomas Police officers attended a residence on the west side of the city regarding an alleged break and enter to a shed. Through investigation officers found that suspects entered an unlocked shed and stole two bicycles and some yard equipment. The bicycles are described as a blue Nakamura 21 speed mountain bike and a yellow 21 speed Diadora mountain bike with black accents. #ST22008831

On Saturday June 11th at approximately 9:10am, St. Thomas Police officers attended a residence in the central area of the city regarding an alleged break and enter. Police learned that suspects smashed a window and entered the empty residence stealing two security cameras and a purse. A shed in the backyard was also entered but nothing was removed. #ST22008832

On Saturday June 11th at approximately 12:15pm, St. Thomas Police officers attended a residence on Talbot Street regarding an alleged break and enter to a garage. Suspects entered the shed through a window and stole a bicycle. The bicycle had no make or model and was missing parts. #ST22008836

On Saturday June 11th at approximately 3:15pm, St. Thomas Police officers attended the Food Basics store located at 780 Talbot Street and arrested and charged 32-year-old TJ Ralf with theft and breaching three separate probation orders. This male was later released by police with conditions and a future court date.

On Saturday June 11th at approximately 3:45pm, St. Thomas Police officers located 29-year-old female Kelly Kline on Talbot Street. This female was arrested on the strength of a St. Thomas Police arrest warrant and later released with a future court date.

On Sunday June 12th at approximately 2am, St. Thomas Police officers conducted a R.I.D.E. program on Fairview Avenue at Chestnut Street. Numerous drivers were stopped and found to be driving responsibly. The St. Thomas Police Service conducts regular R.I.D.E. programs throughout the year and at various locations throughout the city.

On Sunday June 12th at approximately 5am, St. Thomas Police officers attended the INN located at 10 Princess Avenue regarding an alleged assault. Through investigation police arrested and charged 37-year-old female Lynn Wall with assault with a weapon and breaching conditions of previous release documents. This female was released by police with conditions and a future court date. No serious injuries were sustained as a result of the assault.
