Assault
A twenty-seven year old St. Thomas man was arrested without incident after Officers were called to a disturbance in the downtown core. Through investigation it was determined the male assaulted had his girlfriend. The male was charged with one count of domestic assault, and was released with a future court date. ST22010168
Stolen Bicycle Recovered
Officers on community patrol were dealing with a 29 year-old St. Thomas female, when they recognized the bicycle she was operating to match the description of one that had been stolen (ST22010092). Officers conducted a query of the serial number and were able to confirm that it was in fact the stolen bicycle. Therefore the female was arrested and chaged with possession of stolen property under $5,000, and was released with a future court date.
Alarm/Break and Enter Arrest
On Sunday July 3, at approximately 0422 hrs, the St. Thomas Police were dispatched to attend the Peavy Mart for reports of an alarm. Upon arrival, Officers located a forty-one year old St. Thomas man inside a fenced off area. The male was placed under arrested without incident, and a search of the male resulted in a small quantity of crystal methamphetamine being located, as well as some items that did not belong to him from an unrelated incident. Therefore the male was charged with break and enter, possession of a controlled substance, and two counts of possession of stolen property. The male was released from Police Custody with a future court date.
