Sexual Assault
On Wednesday July 15, 2020 the St Thomas Police Service received a report of a sexual assault that had occurred the previous night in the city of St Thomas. As a result of an investigation by the Criminal Investigations Branch a 21 year old St. Thomas male was arrested and charged with sexual assault.
Theft
On July 16, 2020 the St. Thomas Police received a call to a local business regarding a shoplifter. As a result of the investigation officers identified the 35 year old male accused. It was determined that the accused was also on a probation order. As such the accused was arrested and charged with theft under $5000.00 and failing to comply with probation order. He was held for court.
Warrant
On July 16, 2020 a 33 year old male wanted on a probation warrant was located by police. He was subsequently arrested on the outstanding warrant and released with a future court date.
Recovered Stolen Bicycle
The St. Thomas Police recovered a stolen bicycle valued at approximately $1700.00. The bicycle had been reported stolen to the police back in June 2020. The bicycle was also registered on 529 Garage which greatly assisted officers in returning the bicycle to the owner.
