Arrest
A thirty nine year old St. Thomas man was arrested yesterday morning just after 9 am by court security at the Elgin County Court House. The man had attended the location on an unrelated matter when security discovered that he was wanted on a warrant by the London Police Service. The man was taken into custody without incident and transported to the the London Police Headquarters for processing.
Abandoned Bike
Police have a black and red bike that was left leaning against an exterior wall of the Colin McGregor Justice Building. The bike was placed into the property garage for safe keeping. If this is your bike please contact us at 519-631-1224 to claim.
Break and Enter
Police are investigating after a utility trailer was broken into sometime over the long weekend. The trailer was parked at a construction site on Renaissance Drive when thieves pried off the lock and stole a DeWalt Mitre saw and a Milwaukee quick drive drill. Arrest
A forty one year old St. Thomas man was arrested yesterday afternoon after police discovered he was not living at his court ordered address. Officers had attended the residence while investigating a separate matter looking for the male only to be told by the occupant that he did not live there. The man was located a short time later at a local motel and what taken into custody without incident. He was charged one count Breach of Release Conditions and later released on a Promise to Appear in Court.
Warrant
A seventeen year old youth wanted on a warrant by the St. Thomas Police Service was arrested yesterday afternoon. The warrant stems from an incident back in June where the youth was charged with one count of Assault and one count of Assault With a Weapon after she attacked another seventeen year old while in Athletic Park off of St. George Street. She was taken into custody without incident and later released into the custody of a parent on a Promise to Appear in Youth Court.
Arrest
A twenty nine year old man from Wallacetown was arrested yesterday evening and charged with Uttering Threats to Cause Bodily Harm and three counts of Breach of Release Conditions. The arrest was made after police were called to a residence after the man refused to leave. He was taken into custody without incident and later released on a Promise to Appear in Court.
Warrant
A thirty five year old St. Thomas man was arrested early this morning around 6:30 am after police located him downtown. The man was wanted on a bench warrant for failing to attend court to answer to several drug, theft and breach charges. He was taken into custody without incident and held at the Colin McGregor Justice Building for court.
